Crux Care / Founding gym pilot

Your hands are equipment. Maintain them accordingly.

Crux Care is a climbing-specific hand-maintenance station for gyms—giving members a quick, clear place to prep, protect, and recover after a session.

Recruiting 3–5 climbing facilities for a measured 60–90 day field test.

Built to learn before scale

This is not a product launch. It is a field test for whether gyms and climbers will adopt a better maintenance routine.

60–90

Days of observed use, stock counts, and operator feedback.

Low-touch

One contained station instead of scattered requests at the front desk.

How it works

One station. A clear rhythm.

Placement, instructions, supplies, and feedback all live in one practical system designed around the end of a climbing session.

  1. 01

    Install

We place a compact prototype in a high-visibility, low-interruption part of your facility.

  2. 02

    Climbers use it

Members identify what their hands need and complete a simple 2–5 minute routine.

  3. 03

    We replenish

QR check-ins, stock counts, and gym feedback help us learn what is used and when.

The prototype station

Maintenance supplies deserve better than a drawer behind the desk.

The pilot prototype groups the essentials in one durable, easy-to-understand layout. Exact contents are part of what we are testing with founding gyms.

01 / PREP

Raised edges

Smoothing strips and clear direction for routine callus maintenance.

02 / REPAIR

Torn skin

Clean, cover, and tape supplies organized for simple post-session care.

03 / PROTECT

Worn tips

Fingertip patches and tape made easy to find when climbers need them.

04 / RECOVER

Dry hands

Non-greasy recovery balm and wipes for after the session—not during it.

Routine grooming and post-session care only. Crux Care is not healthcare.

Why gyms participate

A differentiated amenity, tested with evidence.

A more organized member experience

Give climbers one obvious place for the routine maintenance supplies they already ask about.

Clear operating data

See what gets used, what gets ignored, and what the station costs to keep ready.

Less scattered supply handling

Test whether a single managed point of access can reduce ad hoc tape and file requests.

A contained pilot

Start with prototype hardware, a defined learning period, and a structured review before any commitment.

Founding gym pilot

Put the first station to work.

We are looking for operators who will help us test the routine, the station, and the operational model in a real facility.

  • A prototype station using off-the-shelf components
  • Initial supply of consumables and simple member instructions
  • QR-based usage check-ins and planned stock counts
  • A 60–90 day learning period and operator review

Founding-partner terms are discussed after we confirm pilot fit. There is no checkout or payment on this site.

Questions, answered

Is Crux Care medical care?+

No. The station supports routine grooming and post-session hand maintenance. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent medical conditions.

Is this finished hardware?+

Not yet. Founding gyms receive a carefully assembled prototype so we can learn from real use before investing in custom manufacturing.

What does the gym team need to do?+

Provide a sensible placement location, introduce the station to members, and share candid feedback. Crux Care owns the setup, instructions, and replenishment check-ins.
